About the author
​Gratitude is what I feel after a 40 + year sales career, (some of those in management at large insurers, the last 33 in sales at a large brokerage in Ontario, Canada). My focus was largely centered on Employee Benefits, (for clients between 10 and 1,000 employees, many for 25 plus years) and executive Life and Disability.

Long sales careers take plenty of learning and grinding, mixed with the great pleasure of helping others. It was a tremendously satisfying career for me but only because I found a method that suited me – not aggressive or manipulative but gentler and client-centred, and highly effective.
I retired officially at the end of 2024, to change my focus to sharing sales techniques and
philosophies through this book project, and related activities.
I look forward to continuing conversations within the industry and profession.
